Tech Modification Specialist

-2:30pm Monday – Friday
Hourly pay: $23.00 - $28.00/hr
What You'll Do
- Build and assemble projects based on customer specifications utilizing wiring diagrams, schematics, work orders and pictures provided.
- Provide quality products as well as meet the production schedule for all projects.
- Assemble projects to the customer's specifications.
- Assist in production of various phases of assemblies, but also be able to produce a turnkey project from start to finish with direction provided by manager.
- Perform light manufacturing of multiple product categories in a fast-paced build shop, following defined processes for manufacturing accuracy.
- Effectively respond to and interact with all levels of Viking team members and other departments, and with vendors.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years electrical and/or mechanical background, including warehousing and assembly.
- Strong mechanical and analytical aptitude, along with understanding and basic knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Good manual dexterity and experience with power and hand tools, and engraving equipment.
- Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and handle pressure.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as a team member; and collaboratively across departments.
- Proficient PC skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); internet navigation and other PC skills.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. Powered Industrial Equipment certification.
- No vision hinderances in relation to color.
