Position Title:

CNC Operator Wage: $19.00/hr

Shift: 1st

Hours:

06:00 am - 04:30 pm M-TH

CNC Operator Responsibilities
  • Maintain safe working conditions and participate in 5S activities
  • Compliance with all company regulations, procedures and policies
  • Have ownership of the quality of your product
  • Scrap reduction and process control focus
  • Reporting of production problems, obstacles to following production procedures, and unusual workplace events
  • Communicate maintenance and machine needs to leads and supervisor
  • Teamwork and participation within department
  • Communicate and participate in timely preventive maintenance
  • Change tooling and perform minor offset adjustments
  • Operate CNC turning, vertical machining centers
Requirements for CNC Operator
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Technical training in machining, CNC operation, manufacturing technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of direct machine shop experience required.
  • Experience operating CNC turning centers, CNC lathes, and/or CNC vertical machining centers in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience loading and unloading CNC machinery while maintaining production and quality standards.
  • Experience changing tooling, making minor machine adjustments, and performing offset corrections required.
  • Experience machining metal components to specified tolerances and finish requirements.
  • Experience inspecting parts and performing quality checks using measuring devices and inspection tools preferred.
  • Experience working with production schedules, process control, and scrap reduction initiatives preferred.
