Production Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing client to identify an experienced Production Manager to lead daily operations within a plastic injection molding facility. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for production scheduling, materials coordination, team development, and operational performance to ensure customer orders are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.

• Manage daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate production priorities, machine loading, labor allocation, and materials availability.
• Monitor production performance, including throughput, downtime, scrap, and labor efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 15 production employees.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Partner with Customer Service, Purchasing, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations teams to support manufacturing objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably within plastic injection molding.
• Experience with production scheduling, inventory control, and materials coordination.
• Experience leading hourly manufacturing employees.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• ERP system experience required; IQMS experience preferred.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

This position requires a combination of office and manufacturing floor presence with regular interaction with production personnel and equipment.
