We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support production equipment, automated manufacturing systems, and facility infrastructure within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on maintenance position responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background with experience supporting CNC equipment, PLC-controlled machinery, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, VFDs, conveyors, and other automated production systems
.

You will work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to maximize equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and production systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC-based production equipment and automated machinery.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery, conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, motors, and rotating equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment
    .
  • Support FANUC robotic cells
    , including safety circuits, sensors, controls, and end-of-arm tooling.
  • Diagnose mechanical failures and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Rebuild and overhaul machinery and components to OEM specifications.
  • Perform machinery installation, alignment, dismantling, balancing, and vibration-related maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot presses, CNC machines, conveyors, and auxiliary manufacturing equipment.
  • Work with VFDs, motors, servos, encoders, and motor-control systems
    .
  • Replace bearings, seals, belts, chains, motors, and other mechanical components.
  • Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and basic machining as required.
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, schematics, ladder logic, technical drawings, manuals, and machine documentation.
  • Use precision measuring equipment, gauges, meters, and hand/power tools.
  • Support equipment installations, production-line moves, process changes, and new equipment commissioning.
  • Partner with engineering teams on equipment upgrades and production improvements.
  • Identify recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and uptime.
  • Perform emergency repairs to minimize production interruptions.
  • Complete and document preventative maintenance activities and equipment repairs within the CMMS.
  • Maintain appropriate maintenance supplies, spare parts, and vendor relationships.
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and equipment-related process improvements.
  • Assist with training and development of maintenance team members.
  • Follow all applicable safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, hot work, confined-space, and elevated-work requirements

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
    .
  • Hands-on experience working with electrical systems ranging from low voltage through 480V
    .
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled industrial equipment
    .
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot both power and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, one-line diagrams, blueprints, and machine documentation.
  • Experience working safely around industrial machinery and automated production equipment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.
  • Ability to follow established safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
    .
  • Experience supporting CNC machining equipment
    .
  • Experience with FANUC robotics or robotic welding systems
    .
  • Experience with automated manufacturing or process equipment.
  • Experience supporting E-Coat / electrocoating systems or other industrial finishing equipment.
  • Experience with continuous-pouring or composite-manufacturing equipment.
  • Additional electrical training, coursework, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Experience with CMMS platforms such as Limble or similar systems.
