Forklift Operator

Job Description

Engauge Workforce Solutions is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations. This position safely moves materials, supplies production equipment, and prepares products for storage and shipment.

Work schedule: 7am-3:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely.
• Load and unload trucks; verify shipment counts and check for damage or shortages.
• Move and stage materials according to production schedules and instructions.
• Deliver materials to production areas and remove finished products.
• Use scanners and computer systems to track inventory and material movement.
• Prepare pallets for shipment using appropriate wrapping, straps, and protective materials.
• Complete equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Keep work areas clean and follow company safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience preferred; experience with stand-up forklifts or electric pallet jacks is a plus.
• Ability to read work instructions and accurately identify products and materials.
• Basic math, computer, and scanner skills.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform the position’s physical duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work the assigned schedule and overtime as needed.
• Successful completion of required forklift training and operator evaluation.
