Manufacturing Engineer supporting CT detector packaging manufacturing at GE Health Care, focusing on quality, yield, and process stability.
Responsibilities- manage daily manufacturing operations
- lead process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma
- perform root cause analysis, defect reduction, and process capability enhancement
- plan and execute DOE
- support equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, and fabrication
- drive scrap reduction, OEE tracking, and 5S initiatives
Bachelor's in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automation, Chemical, Materials Science, or related field; minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering. Preferred: experience with Lean/Six Sigma tools, high-volume or precision manufacturing, process troubleshooting, data-driven decision-making, and experience in regulated environments like biomedical or pharma.
High Valuefocus on highly regulated, precision manufacturing of CT detection components; process optimization, defect reduction, and continuous improvement methodologies.
