Commercial Sustainability Partner

The Commercial Sustainability team is responsible for unlocking new opportunities for growth across the industries we serve by leveraging sustainability as a commercial differentiator. Working closely with marketing and sales, we translate customer needs, market trends, and the sustainability benefits of biosolutions into compelling value propositions, customer stories, and stronger market positioning.
As our Commercial Sustainability Partner, you will help connect sustainability insights with commercial action. You will shape customer-facing narratives, enable commercial teams with impactful content, and help position Novonesis in front of customers and external audiences across Animal and Plant Biosolutions. You will join a diverse, inclusive, and global team of sustainability professionals who are passionate about creating positive impact.
The Role & Your ImpactIn this role, you will:
- Develop and deliver sustainability value propositions and commercial enablement materials for Animal and Plant Biosolutions.
- Transform customer needs, market trends, and product data into compelling customer narratives, training content, and sales-ready proof points.
- Translate sustainability insights into opportunities for industry positioning, customer engagement, and new business development.
- Create customer-facing marketing assets such as calculators, case studies, one-pagers, and presentations that bring sustainability benefits to life.
- Collaborate across commercial and technical teams to develop credible environmental product claims and messaging.
- Drive customer engagement and strengthen Novonesis' positioning on external platforms in North America and beyond.
To succeed in this role, you are likely to bring:
- A Bachelors in Business, Science, International Affairs, or a related field. Master's degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing or Sales, preferably within Agriculture, Livestock, or related industries.
- Experience developing value propositions, positioning strategies, and messaging for complex B2B solutions.
- The ability to translate technical and sustainability-related benefits into compelling commercial narratives and customer-focused marketing assets.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience generating customer insights, market intelligence, and competitive assessments.
- Excellent storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.

- High degree of flexibility in working hours to enable collaboration across regions and time zones.
- Expected base salary: $120,000 - $140,000, dependent on experience
