Hoffman York is looking for a Senior Media Planner to join the supportive, inquisitive, and analytical-minded media team. As a HY Senior Media Planner, you will be responsible for developing strategic, data-driven media plans that connect client objectives with the right audiences, channels, and tactics. The role leads media planning and execution across traditional, digital, social, streaming, and other media, while identifying opportunities to optimize performance and incorporate new opportunities and technologies. You would collaborate closely with account, creative, and client teams, building thoughtful recommendations, presenting strategies, and managing projects from initial planning stages through activation and reporting.

The Senior Media Planner also mentors junior team members and serves as a trusted media expert in their most experienced areas.

• Assist and collaborate with Media Supervisors and Directors in the preparation of compelling plan presentations that tell a story and are backed with supportive rationale.
• Analyze audiences, budgets, channel performance, and market data to build and refine integrated media strategies.
• Write thoughtful and concise document summaries and Power Point presentations including visually clean Microsoft charts, graphs, and tables.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and media partners to ensure campaigns launch accurately and stay on schedule and budget.
• Apply experience with media buying platforms to manage buys in HY's self-serve buying platforms (e.g. Meta Ads, Google Ads, Linked In, Tik Tok, The Trade Desk).
• Build interactive dashboards for clients, showcasing all media buy components and with KPI performance progress.
• Monitor campaign results, identify optimization opportunities, and prepare insights and recommendations for client meetings and reporting decks.
• Achieve proficiency in agency research and auditing platforms (e.g. Media Radar, MRI/Simmons, Flash talking/Innovid).

• A previous job position(s) and a minimum of 4 years recent full-time experience in a role with media planning, buying, and reporting is required. Traditional and digital media experiences are relevant.
• A degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or a related field. Certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, programmatic buying, Meta) are a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel).
• Well-structured and grammatically-sound writing abilities for writing English-language emails, documents and presentations that are shared both internally and externally to employees, vendors, and clients.
• Positive references that suggest proactivity, comprehension, accuracy, and collaboration.
