Scouting America helps shape future leaders through values-based youth development programs serving all youth. We are seeking a motivated, community-focused professional for the role of Area Manager (District Executive) serving Racine and Kenosha Counties in southeastern Wisconsin.
This is a hybrid position based out of Three Harbors Council’s headquarters in Milwaukee.
- Recruit, lead, and support volunteer teams
- Grow membership and expand youth programs
- Lead fundraising campaigns and budgets
- Build program partnerships with schools, businesses, and community organizations
- Plan events and volunteer training to support program success
- Collaborate with adult volunteers and provide quality service
- Business or nonprofit management
- Sales or fundraising
- Marketing and community engagement
- Public service or leadership development
- Strong communication and public speaking skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and organized
- Comfortable working evenings and occasional weekends
- Background in campus leadership, internships, athletics, or student organizations is a plus
No prior Scouting experience required. We provide professional training and mentorship. The candidate should live in or near (or be willing to relocate to) Racine and Kenosha Counties and have a valid driver's license.
Benefits- Base salary of $46,000 - $48,000
- Auto Allowance of $3,600 ($300 per month, plus 18 cents per mile)
- Cell phone reimbursement of $600 ($50 per month)
- 403b retirement plan with up to a 6% company match
