The African American Leadership Alliance Milwaukee (AALAM) develops, connects, and elevates African American leaders to strengthen organizations and advance the Milwaukee region. As AALAM continues to scale its leadership programs, partnerships, events, and fundraising efforts, the organization is implementing Bonterra Every Action as its central platform for donor management, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, communications, event management, and relationship management.

AALAM seeks an experienced Bonterra Implementation Consultant to lead the organization through an accelerated implementation of the Bonterra Every Action platform. This consultant will be responsible for migration, configuration, business process design, campaign readiness, staff training, system documentation, reporting setup, and launch support.

The immediate priority is to ensure AALAM is prepared by September 1, 2026 for the Manager of Communications to execute the Annual Meeting campaign, including segmented event invitations, donor communications, campaign tracking, registration workflows, and giving pathways. The broader implementation must also ensure AALAM is ready by October 8, 2026 to receive, process, track, acknowledge, and steward donors connected to the Annual Meeting and future fundraising efforts.

The successful consultant will leave behind a sustainable operating system, documented workflows, trained users, and a Bonterra environment capable of supporting events, marketing, stakeholder communications, funder relationships, donor management, individual one-time gifts, recurring monthly donations, sponsor ships, and executive reporting.

• Establish Bonterra as AALAM’s primary platform for donor, stakeholder, alumni, sponsor, funder, and partner relationship management.
• Migrate relevant contacts, lists, tags, communication assets, and usable history from Constant Contact and other identified sources.
• Configure Bonterra to support marketing campaigns, event registration, online giving, recurring monthly donations, sponsorship tracking, donor stewardship, and fund development reporting.
• Enable the Manager of Communications to launch and manage Annual Meeting communications no later than September 1, 2026.
• Ensure AALAM can receive and steward donors connected to the October 8 Annual Meeting, including one-time gifts, monthly recurring donations, and donations tied to event participation.
• Train staff and document procedures so AALAM can operate the platform consistently after implementation.

• Migrated, cleaned, and structured constituent data from Constant Contact and other identified sources.
• Configured Bonterra environment for contacts, segmentation, campaigns, events, donation processing, recurring giving, sponsorship tracking, donor management, and reporting.
• Annual Meeting campaign infrastructure ready for communications launch by September 1, 2026.
• Online giving, recurring giving, and donor stewardship workflows tested and operational before the October 8 Annual Meeting.
• Email templates, campaign workflows, audience segments, and campaign performance reports available for use by the Manager of Communications.
• Executive dashboards and fund development reports configured.
• Staff training completed and role-specific guidance provided.
• Bonterra SOP/Guidebook delivered with governance standards and ongoing maintenance recommendations.

• AALAM’s Manager of Communications is able to independently launch and manage the Annual Meeting campaign in Bonterra by September 1, 2026.
• AALAM can accept and track one-time and recurring donations connected to the October 8 Annual Meeting.
• Event registration, donor capture, donor acknowledgment, and post-event stewardship workflows are tested and operational.
• Staff are trained and able to use documented procedures for communications, events, donor management, and reporting.
• Leadership has access to useful dashboards and reports for campaign, fundraising, donor, sponsor, and stakeholder engagement activity.
• AALAM has a documented Bonterra operating guide and governance model to support consistent long-term use.
