Do you enjoy talking to people, working in an active environment and seeing the results of your work firsthand?

Great Lakes Outreach Wisconsin is expanding its Milwaukee team and looking for a Community Outreach Representative to support nonprofit campaigns through face-to-face public engagement.

This is a hands-on role based at retail and event locations throughout the Milwaukee area. You’ll speak directly with members of the public, introduce the organizations and causes we represent, build interest and help campaigns grow their community support.

Working alongside a small team at an assigned location, you'll:

• Proactively approach and start conversations with members of the public
• Represent nonprofit organizations and their campaigns
• Explain campaign goals and key information clearly
• Build rapport and identify genuine interest
• Answer questions and adapt your approach to different people
• Encourage individuals to get involved and support the campaigns you represent
• Complete supporter acquisitions and work toward campaign goals
• Track your results and use feedback to strengthen your approach

You don't need a traditional marketing or nonprofit background. We're interested in people who:

• Communicate confidently and enjoy meeting new people
• Are comfortable initiating face-to-face conversations
• Bring energy and professionalism to public-facing environments
• Are motivated by goals and measurable results
• Learn quickly and respond well to coaching
• Are reliable and enjoy contributing to a team
• Can work full-time and in person throughout the Milwaukee area

Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, sales, fundraising, events or another people-facing environment can be valuable, but strong communication skills and the willingness to learn are equally important.

• Weekly base compensation plus additional performance-related earnings
