Legal Action of Wisconsin is seeking an Annual Giving Coordinator to manage our annual giving program, donor communications and stewardship, gift processing, and major fundraising and engagement events.

The Annual Giving Coordinator is an important member of the External Relations team and will help build meaningful, lasting relationships with donors, volunteers, and supporters. This position will manage multi-channel annual giving campaigns; coordinate consistent donor communications and stewardship; ensure gifts are processed and acknowledged accurately and promptly; and lead the planning and coordination of at least two large-scale fundraising or engagement events each year.

The Annual Giving Coordinator is part of Legal Action’s External Relations Department and is supervised by the Content Manager. The Department also includes a Government Relations staff member, Grants Manager, and Major Gifts Director . Legal Action’s Volunteer Engagement Director works closely with the External Relations Department. Together, the team builds understanding of and support for Legal Action among policymakers, donors, volunteers, community partners, and the public.

Annual Giving Appeals and Campaigns

• Manage Legal Action’s annual giving calendar and coordinate fundraising appeals across direct mail, email, digital, and other communication channels.
• Coordinate annual giving campaigns from planning through execution, including timelines, audience segmentation, messaging, production, mailing, email deployment, and follow-up.
• Work with the Content Manager and other External Relations staff to develop donor-centered fundraising messages that communicate the impact of Legal Action’s work.
• Coordinate with printers, mail houses, designers, and other vendors to ensure campaigns are completed accurately, on time, and within budget.
• Prepare and maintain mailing and email lists and coordinate donor segmentation for campaigns.
• Coordinate digital giving campaigns and special fundraising opportunities, including Giving Tuesday and year-end giving.
• Track campaign results, including revenue, donor participation, response, and other key measures, and help identify opportunities to strengthen future appeals.
• Support strategies to acquire new donors, retain current donors, re-engage lapsed donors, and grow recurring giving.

Donor Communications and Stewardship

• Manage Legal Action’s monthly donor and volunteer newsletter , including the production calendar, content coordination, drafting, scheduling, and performance tracking.
