Restoring Lands is seeking a Grants Manager to write and coordinate private and government grants; initiate discussion and decision making with program, administrative, and development team members; seek data and information to inform reporting; establish and steward relationships with foundation staff; write grant proposals and reports; and research new funding sources. The Grants Manager will support the grant management process from proposal development to grant reporting and closeout including creating a project management timeline and process to gather information from the team in a timely manner.
This role is the main point of contact for the organization’s grant program and reports to the Chief Philanthropy Officer.
Restoring Lands manages over 7,000 acres of land in the Milwaukee River Basin and beyond, including over 50 conservation easements and 40 preserves. The organization works to improve water quality, protect and enhance wildlife habitat, preserve scenic and open spaces, and provide spaces for people to enjoy nature.
