JOB SUMMARY
Provides direction and leadership toward the achievement of Children's Medical Group's vision, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives. Recommends strategic plans and opportunities to broaden and develop additional services. Ensures services are carried out in accordance with quality and financial standards.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions
Childrens Medical Group/Childrens Physician Group
- Supports practice growth of new physicians through physician recruitment and acquisition of pediatric practices. Cultivates growth of pediatric practices in Northern Illinois.
- Enhances service excellence through Patient Satisfaction Surveys and employee evaluation of physicians performance. Reviews results with physicians.
- Ensures legal compliance within practices such as HIPAA regulations.
- Provides oversight of the central billing office to support the financial integrity of the sites. Ensures that relationships with third party payers are maintained and provides physicians and sites education on
financial issues relevant to practice operations. - Ensures sites receive relevant communication, education and management through Office Managers and the Office Operations Director.
- Encourages collaborative community partnerships to further pediatric primary care.
- Encourages advocacy on childrens health issues such as the school health program providing school
nurse services to central Milwaukee elementary schools.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
A degree in Medicine, with specialty training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Board certification
Work Experience
Extensive experience working with physicians and hospital administrators required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Effective team building skills, organizational and staff development.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to present and speak publicly and negotiate with physicians.
Strong analytical skills to problem solve financial, marketing and other challenges facing pediatric health care delivery.
