The Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population.

Provide advanced cardiac critical care, including management of cardiac surgery patients, IABP, Impella, and ECMO when available. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, float to step-down and medical-surgical units as needed, and maintain documentation and quality metrics.

• Minimum 2 years CVICU experience in an academic medical center
• Current Wisconsin RN license or multi‑state nursing license under the NLC
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Epic system experience
• Travel nursing experience
• Float capability: ICU first, then step-down, then med‑surg

• Associate’s degree in nursing (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)
