Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring 3+ years of ED experience and night shift availability.

• Works in a hospital Emergency Department
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Epic EMR used
• May be required to float within skill set to on-site units or to facilities within 40 miles
• MOAB or CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (8-hour course, renewed every 2 years) required
• Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be eligible only for a reduced local rate
• Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Skills checklist required for consideration

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current AHA-issued certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 3 years of ED experience required; candidates without travel experience must have 5+ years in a large ED
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred for candidates with less than 5 years of ED experience
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
