Responsibilities- Work 3x12 hour day shifts with every other weekend requirement
- Float required to ICU first, then step down, then medical/surgical units
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult patient population in inpatient environment
- Provide care and management for target patient populations specific to CVICU
- Minimum 2 years CVICU experience in Academic Medical Center required
- Preferred experience with cardiac surgery, IABP, Impella, and ECMO
- Associate's degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Current Wisconsin RN License or Multi-state Nursing License from participating NLC state required
- Required certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Clinical competence in cardiovascular intensive care unit settings essential
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice required
