This position is for RN Clinic (Neuro Spine - Surgery)
Patient Types / Common Diagnoses- Pre-operative and post-operative Neuro Spine surgery patients
- Neurosurgery cases (No stroke patients)
- Active RN License
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ADN accepted if highly qualified
- BSN preferred
- Strong in-basket management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Clinic preparation and workflow coordination
- Care coordination from outpatient → inpatient → outpatient follow-up
- Placing orders and referrals
- Nurse triage (including e-messaging)
- Patient education
- Medication reconciliation (Med Rec)
- Verify and coordinate surgery clearance with other specialties (Cardiology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, etc.)
- Experience coordinating with multiple clinics for surgical clearance
- Must have EPIC EMR experience
