Overview

Locum Tenens Registered Nurse (RN) – Level III NICU Nursing Administration – Green Bay, Wisconsin. This 13-week travel nursing opportunity at a top trauma and maternity center offers hands-on neonatal care experience and the chance to work with a leading healthcare team in Green Bay, Northeast Wisconsin.

Registered Nurse Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact state (RN jobs in Wisconsin)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Level III NICU nursing experience
  • BLS and NRP certifications required; STABLE certification preferred
  • Clinical experience with micropreemies, respiratory distress, neonatal infections, NAS, and intubated/vented neonates
  • Proficient in O2 therapy, nitric oxide, CPAP, and chest tube management
  • Familiarity with EPIC charting, Alaris, and Pyxis systems
  • Covid-19 vaccination required
RN Responsibilities – Level III NICU
  • Deliver expert neonatal nursing care in a Level III NICU setting
  • Support nursing administration and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Manage patient ratios of 1:1-3, ensuring high-quality, individualized patient care
  • Utilize advanced clinical skills for micropreemie care, respiratory support, and infection management
  • Participate in hospital orientation and unit-specific training
  • Work closely with CNAs, phlebotomists, charge nurses, neonatologists, and nurse practitioners
  • Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and other clinical support systems
