Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements

• Background position supporting 10-20 patients in clinic daily

• Up to 4 weeks of orientation provided

• Neurosurgery experience preferred but not required

• Clinic or triage experience preferred

• ADN acceptable if well qualified, BSN preferred

• BLS certification required

• EPIC EMR experience required

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently required

• Ability to work under pressure essential

• Responsibilities include in-basket management, nurse triage including e-messaging, placing orders and referrals, patient education, medication reconciliation, coordinating surgery clearance with other specialties, and coordinating care from outpatient to inpatient settings

• Work with pre and post-operative neurosurgery spine patients

• No stroke patients

• Dress code allows solid colors or business casual

• Free parking provided

• All time off requests must be approved by Manager/Provider prior to start

• Open to first-time travelers if well qualified
