Overview

The Medical Specialty Clinic Outpatient Staff Registered Nurse position is located at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The function of the Medical Subspecialty Registered Nurse is to provide, direct and supervise the delivery of quality nursing care to a diverse veteran population of varying complexity in the Outpatient setting.

• Provide, direct and supervise the delivery of quality nursing care to a diverse veteran population of varying complexity in the outpatient setting.
• Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team to support highly specialized outpatient Neurology and PM&R programs serving Veterans with complex neurological conditions and rehabilitation needs.
• Support evidence-based practice and contribute to the ongoing development of a nationally recognized Center of Excellence program.
• Assist in patient education and ensure high standards of care through attention to detail in complex clinical environments.
