Registered Nurse (RN) – GI LabWest Allis, WI
Where You Will Work- Patient Population:
Adult patients in the outpatient and inpatient setting. The team supports a wide range of Endoscopic procedures including preventative screening and diagnostic colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), and bronchoscopies. - Culture:

Monday - Friday, . Four 10‑hour shifts per week. Start and end times may flex based on department needs.
On‑Call RequirementsCall in once every 10th weekend and (2) weeknights per month.
We’re Looking For- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- 1‑2 Years of Med/Surg, ICU, ED or 1 year perioperative nursing experience.
* Nurse Extern time excluded from Nursing experience. - ACLS is required by completion of orientation.
- Deliver individualized care using the nursing process—assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, mobilizing resources and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Promote patient safety by implementing risk‑reduction strategies and reporting safety events promptly.
- Educate patients and families, adapting teaching methods to meet unique learning needs and supporting readiness for discharge.
- Coordinate care and discharge planning through an interdisciplinary approach, ensuring continuity across the healthcare continuum.
- Lead and delegate effectively, fostering teamwork and supporting unlicensed personnel.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and unit performance.
