RN Tele Profession

This position requires an experienced RN to provide care for various medical and surgical patients. The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient load that averages up to 6 patients per nurse. Required skills include the ability to perform wound vac changes and utilize telemetry monitoring. Support staff includes CNAs, techs, and other RNs with access to rapid response teams.

The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. Familiarity with IV pumps and medication dispensing systems is necessary. Floating may occur to any Med/Surg unit based on needs and assignments from the House Supervisor. The scheduling expectation includes a weekend rotation every other week and participation in alternating major holidays. Dress code allows for any solid color scrubs without logos.
