Job DescriptionThis position offers flexible scheduling with a minimum of 30 hours per week. Candidates should be able to adapt to varying business needs while maintaining consistent weekly hours.
About the roleYou will determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable results. You will work under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager as applicable) and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues. You will follow guidance provided by Bio Life Medical Affairs and provide center‑level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS).
Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility, including proper management of informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self‑exclusion.
- Conduct medical history interviews and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
- Evaluate donor reactions, following SOPs for medical emergencies and coordinating transport to emergency care facilities.
- Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or guidance concerning medical or technical issues.
- Support the Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and determine if further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER, following EHS guidance.
- Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats within the local community.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.
- Current licensure or certification in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: LPN or LVN.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Successful completion of FDA‑approved training requirements for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Location& Compensation
USA – WI – Milwaukee
U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $25.60 - $35.20 per hour. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on qualifications, experience, and location, and will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short‑term incentives, medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well‑being benefits.
U.S. based employees are also eligible to accrue up to 80 hours of sick time and new hires up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
