Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Imaging team.
This position will primarily support CT
, with additional responsibilities in the Resource/Epic Imaging Nurse role.
*** Sign on Bonus: $7500***
24 hours/week (.6 FTE)
10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
No call. No weekends.
We are flexible on which three days per week the nurse works; however, the schedule must follow a consistent weekly pattern (e.g., Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Monday/Tuesday/Thursday).
Job SummaryThe Imaging Pediatric nurse functions with demonstrated expertise in providing nursing care and/or consultation to the pediatric patients hospital-wide, who are cared for in the imaging department. The nurse is a recognized resource for consultation to nursing and physician services both within CHW and the community. The nurse is also expected to utilize the nursing process to assess patients prior to procedures or scans, prioritizing the need for and providing nursing care to patients undergoing procedures or exam within the Imaging Department.
The nurse is expected to function within professional and hospital standards.
- Utilizes a developmental approach to meet the individual needs of the neonatal, infant, toddler, pre-school, school-age, adolescent and young adult patient.
