Position: Registered Nurse - Local Contract/Travel - Operating Room *Up to $3,150/WK!*

Registered Nurse for a 13‑week contract in Milwaukee’s operating rooms, delivering perioperative care and supporting surgical teams. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to impact patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to surgical patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Assist surgeons by scrubbing in, handling instruments, and ensuring proper sterilization and equipment readiness.

Monitor patient vitals and anesthesia levels during surgeries, promptly addressing deviations or emergencies.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and facilitate smooth surgical workflows.

Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and intraoperative details in EPIC and other charting systems.

Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) optional if specified
Minimum of one year of hospital operating room experience
Ability to respond promptly during on‑call shifts
Strong communication skills
Adaptability in a fast‑paced environment
