Full time registered nurse (RN) position in the perioperative cohort e’s Main OR, Milwaukee, WI. This role includes a 5‑month orientation and ongoing nursing responsibilities in 22 operating rooms, covering Neuro/ENT, General and orthopedics services. The orientation will provide didactic and digital education, lab experiences, simulations, role‑play, and hands‑on practice, as well as training in the circulator role.
Schedule & CompensationHours per week: 40.
Schedule:
7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday‑Friday during orientation; variable start times thereafter. Shift changes and rotating call duties after orientation. Pay range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour. Pay is based on qualification and experience.
- Complete the 5‑month orientation program including didactic, digital, lab, simulation, and role‑play training.
- Assist in circulating surgeries in 22 operating rooms covering Neuro/ENT, General, and orthopedics services.
- Participate in orientation and ongoing education, including role‑play and simulation exercises.
- Work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as required by staffing.
- Be available to start Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
- Handle patient lifting up to 35 pounds and use patient‑handling equipment as needed.
- Assist in patient evacuation during emergencies.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and access all unit areas.
- Take call as required.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current WI RN license.
- Minimum one year nursing experience; new graduates considered.
- Registered Nurse licensure verified prior to start date.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and different shifts.
- Ability to work in a team with surgeons, residents, advanced practice clinicians, anesthesiologists, technologists, and assistants.
