Position: Registered Nurse (RN) –Med/Surg

Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical 4CD, Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center – Telemetry, located at 35214 Aurora St., Milwaukee, WI.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour (based on qualifications, experience, and training).

Schedule

Full time: 36 hours per week, 7 pm–7:30 am shift. 50% holiday coverage; every 3rd weekend off.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care on a 26‑bed Medical/Telemetry unit, caring for patients with COPD, CHF, chest pain, diabetes, wounds, cellulitis, stroke, pneumonia, and minor surgical patients.
  • Apply the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skillful communication to create the safest patient environment.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
