Travel Cardiac Progressive Care RN

Overview

Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License is required. The nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. Competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The job description incorporates essential functions adapted from ANA Nursing:
Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
• Provide competent nursing care to a primarily adult population.

• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Clinical competence and experience in care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.
• Associate’s degree in nursing required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact.

• 12 hour shifts.
• 3rd shift.
• 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend.
• Float as needed.

• Unit: 3W Cardiac Progressive Care (Cardiac Progressive Care Unit).

• Preferred education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Preferred skills and experience:
  None specified beyond required.
