Certification Details
- Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
- Competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
- Role adapted from ANA Nursing:
Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
Job Details
- Two (2) years of nursing experience required.
- Clinical competence and experience in care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.
- Experience with CADD pumps (epidural and nerve block pumps) required.
- Associate’s degree in nursing required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from Nurse Licensure Compact required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Job Requirements
- 12-hour shifts.
- 1st shift.
- 36 hours per week.
- Weekend work required:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday. - Option for day/night rotation with every other weekend off.
- Float as needed.
Schedule Information
- Unit: 2NT Trauma/ACS Progressive Care.
- Care for trauma and acute coronary syndrome patients in a progressive care setting.
- Primarily adult patient population.
Unit Specific Information
- Urgent backfill position.
- Preferred certifications and education not specified beyond requirements.
