Where You Will Work4CD is a 26‑bed Medical/Telemetry unit comprised of both private and semi‑private patient rooms. Most patients are admitted from the Emergency Department, providing a great learning experience for new graduates. You will care for a diverse population with multiple acute and chronic illnesses including COPD, CHF, chest pain, diabetes, wounds, cellulitis, stroke, pneumonia, and minor surgical patients (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, etc). The unit is fast‑paced and offers the opportunity to learn new skills and work alongside a multidisciplinary team.
We’reLooking For
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and strong communication skills to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
