Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Internal Float Pool - Part Time

Position Overview

Internal Float Pool RN at Aurora Sinai Medical Center supports a diverse range of units including Med/Surg‑Ortho, ACE/Stroke, Cardiac Medical Telemetry, and ED boarding. The role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to quickly integrate into different care teams and patient populations.

Schedule & Hours

Part‑time, 24 hours per week. Nights: 1900‑0730 or 2300‑0730. Every 3rd weekend rotation. Holiday coverage: 1 summer and 1 winter holiday required.

Compensation & Pay

Hourly pay range: .

Differentials:
Internal pool $4/hr, night shift $5/hr, weekend $4/hr.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
  • At least 1 year of Acute RN experience.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • A commitment to teamwork, communication, and continual professional growth.
Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe and therapeutic care in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication to create safer patient environments and best patient experiences across the continuum.

Aurora Sinai Medical Center, downtown Milwaukee, featuring state‑of‑the‑art services and affiliation with UW‑Milwaukee Clinical Campus.
