On-site, night shift 7p-7a (Shift
3). Standard hours 12.00. Holidays: weekends.
The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. The RN demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult patient population in accordance with the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice.
Experience RequiredClinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment.
Education RequiredProfessional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing, to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse. Non-BSN nurses with less than one year of licensed RN experience must enroll in a BSN (or higher) program. Acceptance is required within 15 months of hire and completion within 5 years of enrollment, or 6 years if pursuing MSN, DNP or PhD.
EducationPreferred
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
License and Certifications- Current Wisconsin RN license or multi‑state nursing license via NLC.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year of hire.
