Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Role & Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during cardiac procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams and follow strict protocols
- Complete pre‑and post‑operative assessments
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance standards
- Current State Licensure
- At least 1 year of recent CVOR experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and specialty certifications (PALS, CVOR)
- Valid respiratory fit test, TB test, titers (MMR, Hep B, Varicella), and vaccinations
- Ability to pass background, drug screening, and physical assessments
- Prepare and assess patients in the CVOR setting
- Follow safety protocols and maintain sterile environment
- Work collaboratively with surgical teams
- Provide high‑quality patient care and documentation
