Role
Provides direct nursing care in the surgery recovery room, focusing on post-operative and post-procedural patients.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain aseptic techniques following standards, assess patient responses, manage pain, anticipate needs based on procedures, and provide appropriate interventions.
QualificationsMust hold a valid RN license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a multi-state license, with BLS certification and ALS within 6 months. Pediatric Advanced Life Support is preferred.
Skills & PreferencesOne year of experience preferred, ACLS/PALS required, flexible for early start, and training in day surgery pre/post-operative care.
Key DutiesDeliver quality patient care, adhere to sterile protocols, assess and respond to patient needs, and support recovery process.
