Position may cover other Greater Milwaukee Endocrinology locations when provider is out of the office.
All training will be done at St Lukes location.

Job Description Summary
Support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks that are vital to patient care. Medical Assistants and Licensed Practical Nurses must adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. They are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion during all interactions.

Actual compensation offered in the Pay Range of $21.85- $32.80 for an MA or $24.10 - $36.15 for an LPN and will be based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience and/or training.
We’re Looking For
Licensure or Certifications
- LPN:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days unless department leader has determined it is not required. - MA:

- GED or HS Equivalency Diploma.
- LPN:
Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Practical Nursing - MA:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant, or 2 years of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years.
Scheduled hours will be Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-4pm
. All training will be done e’s location (2801 W Kinnickinnic River Pkwy.). Position may minimally cover other Greater Milwaukee Endocrinology locations (Rivercenter Dr., N 76h, Mayfair South, Greenfield (Loomis Rd. and Six Points) and Franklin (Oakwood Pk. Ct and Loomis Rd.) only when provider is out of the office.
As a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse
, you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.
As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will:
- Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
- Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
- Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
- Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
