Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a designated group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population. The RN adheres to the ANA Nursing:
Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).

• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, typically acquired through completion of an accredited School of Nursing program, making the candidate eligible for RN licensure.
• Clinical competence and experience in managing care for target patient populations specific to the area of employment.

• Associate’s degree in nursing.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
