American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent ED or critical care experience, prior travel experience, and Epic proficiency.

• Night shift position, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract
• Large Emergency Department setting
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Float may be required within skill set to other units or to off-site locations within 40 miles
• Epic EMR used

• Active WI or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Additional certifications: TNCC (renewed every 4 years), NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience in a larger Emergency Department, or equivalent critical care experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required
• Copies of all certifications and license verification (Nursys) required

• MOAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) certification is encouraged; optional training links are available through Crisis Prevention Management and IFCPP
