American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Surgery unit position requiring 2+ years of OR experience and prior travel experience.

• Work in the Surgery department (Surgery 001) of a hospital setting
• Rotating 4x10 hour shifts with 0630 or 0650 start times, flexible based on OR volumes
• On-call responsibilities based on department needs, including weekdays and weekends
• Holiday call hours rotate with regular staff
• Contract lengths range from 13 to 26 weeks
• May be required to float onsite within skill set for this contract only
• No float requirement to other sites within 40 miles
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active RN license (WI or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Robotic surgery experience preferred
• Scrub nurse experience helpful
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a surgical unit
• Support a hospital-based surgical team handling varying OR case volumes
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
• Local candidates are accepted but may receive a different rate based on proximity
