Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour shifts) - Weekend Rotation:
- 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Typically 1–2 nurses scheduled to cover testing
- Call Requirements:
- Weeknight call: 3:30 PM – 9:00 PM
- Weekend call: 7:30 AM – 9:00 PM
- Holiday call: 7:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30
Registered Nurse (RN) – St Luke's Stress Lab
Where you will work: Milwaukee, WI, United States -
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic procedures, including:
- Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) with conscious sedation
- Cardiac stress testing
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and optimal outcomes
- Administer medications and manage sedation in accordance with protocols
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, NPs, and sonographers during procedures
- Educate patients and families on procedures and follow-up care
- Respond to emergent situations and provide critical care support as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory and safety standards
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association, ACLS, PALS
- 2 years nursing experience; with strong cardiac experience - comfortable with 12 lead EKG reading
