Our client is seeking a dedicated Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for a focused 6-day assignment in Wisconsin, beginning Nov 2, 2026. This vital role operates on 24-hour shifts, 7a-7a, within a NICU. Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, expertly stabilizing premature and critically ill newborns, and providing comprehensive ongoing NICU management.
Responsibilities and Duties- Perform 24-hour shifts within a NICU setting.
- Attend high-risk deliveries and provide stabilization for premature and critically ill newborns.
- Manage ongoing care for infants in the NICU.
- Handle cases involving high-risk deliveries, critically ill infants, intubation, umbilical line insertion, lumbar puncture, chest tube insertion, catheter placement, and percutaneous arterial line insertion.
- Document five case logs each for lumbar punctures, insertion of PICC lines, and arterial line insertions.
- Board Certification in Neonatology is required.
- The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system utilized is Epic.
