Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgery/OR position in Wisconsin, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and proficiency in Epic, with on-call responsibilities including every 3rd weekend.

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license (currently in hand)
• BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR/surgical nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Social Security Number and a US home address required

• Hospital-based surgical unit
• Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible)
• On-call required based on department needs, currently averaging 1–2 shifts per week during the day
• Every 3rd weekend on call, spanning Friday at 3:00 PM through Monday at 6:30 AM
• Holiday coverage fulfilled through on-call rotation based on department needs
• Experience required across multiple surgical specialties: general, robotics, GYN, ortho/podiatry, organ procurement, and endoscopy
• EMR:
  Epic (experience required)
• Floating may be required within skill set, either on-site or to facilities within 40 miles
• 13-week contract
• Candidate must provide a copy of their driver's license, 2 professional references, skills checklist, and copies of certifications and license verification for consideration
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification must be completed within 30 days prior to assignment start; any disciplinary actions require additional documentation
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
