American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring 2+ years of pre/post-op, GI, IR, and PACU experience with EPIC proficiency.

• Hospital-based Surgery Recovery Room unit
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts with scheduled start between 0600 and 0800 depending on department need
• Call requirements of 1-2 shifts per weekday and every third weekend (Friday end of shift to 0630 Monday)
• Rotating holiday coverage with staff
• May require floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles
• Uses EPIC EMR

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Experience in pre/post-op, GI, IR, and PACU settings required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide recovery room nursing care across pre/post-op, GI, IR, and PACU patient populations
• Candidates must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates but at a reduced rate
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Candidates should begin discussing assignment extensions with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date
