American Traveler is hiring an RN Step Down for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience.

• Med Surg 7W unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• May be placed on a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit based on skill set and facility need
• Floating required within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills validation required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration

• Credentialing accepted for either Med-Surg or Step Down RN skill sets
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by facility location
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
