American Traveler is seeking a RN Step Down for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience and a WI or compact RN license.

• Work in a Med Surg/Stepdown (PCU) unit, Med Surg 7W
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week contract length
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• May float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles based on facility need
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current license and primary source verification (Nursys) completed within 30 days prior to start

• Placement determined by greatest facility need, whether on a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit, based on traveler's skill set
• Must complete RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills checklist prior to start
• Local candidates accepted, subject to a radius rule that may reduce pay rate
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this assignment
