Travel PCU Stepdown RN

We are seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a travel assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. The role involves providing care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units, requiring frequent monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Key responsibilities include interpreting cardiac rhythms, responding to emergencies, documenting patient conditions, and educating patients on cardiac health.

• At least one year of recent stepdown RN experience
• Valid RN license per state regulations
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN)
• NIHSS certification

• Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English, PC skills, and physical ability to move and assist with equipment
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain concentration
