Role Overview :
This position involves providing perioperative nursing support in a surgical department, ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scrub functions by selecting and handling instruments and supplies during procedures.
- Conduct circulating functions, monitoring and recording patient conditions, and managing overall nursing care pre-, intra-, and post-operation.
- Assist surgeons with surgical tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgeries.
- Current Registered Nurse license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a multi-state license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 1 month of hire and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.
