Advocate Health Care - - Responsibilities:
Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation; documentation in EMR.;
Measures and documents vital signs and intake/output; prompt communication of observations to RN.;
Participates in admission, transfer, and discharge processes; maintain room setup and patient belongings; respond to call lights.;
Collects urine, stool, and sputum specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated; maintain competency.;
Performs errands, stocking, cleaning, and assisting with patient nutrition and skin care; maintain infection prevention practices.
