American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and 2 prior travel contracts.
Details- Work in a hospital Emergency Department-Trauma unit
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- Every other weekend rotation based on department needs, with every other holiday rotating alongside regular staff
- 13-week assignment length
- Care for critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patient populations
- Uses Epic EMR
- May require floating within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (must be AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- At least 2 prior travel contracts required
- TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills for critical care patients
- Strong team collaboration and clear communication skills
- Provide direct patient care to critical, psychiatric, and pediatric ED patients
- Escalate concerns appropriately and seek support to ensure patient safety
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
- US Social Security Number and US home address required for all candidates
