American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of recent ED or critical care experience and EPIC proficiency.
Details- Work in the Emergency Department-Trauma unit of a hospital environment
- 8-week assignment with an every-other-week and every-other-holiday schedule
- Shift hours are 06:45-19:15
- Cannot accommodate block scheduling
- May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA required)
- TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
- NIH Certification required, updated per applicable group schedule
- 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a larger ED, or critical care experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Provide emergency and trauma nursing care within a busy ED setting
- MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) training preferred, must be an 8-hour course updated every 2 years
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rules
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
